The one word that can ruin EVERYTHING…

Ever thought what your life would be like if you didn’t let the grungy, negative, no-good word ‘BUT’ get in the way? Let me explain what I mean…


Sure, I want to focus on my marriage, but that can happen when the kids are older.


Yes, I know I want to invest in my personal development, but I just don’t have the money right now.


Working out would be good for me, but I have trouble staying consistent.


Ever heard yourself in any of these traps?


It all comes crumbling down with one seemingly simple word, ‘BUT.’

And in all honesty - the ‘but’ is so easy to get caught up in.


It gives you an out.

It lessens any possible failure.

It eases any potential change.

Yet at the end of the day - are the consistent ‘buts’ and excuses truly allowing you to get what you want out of life?


This, right here, is my 2020 wish for you.

It’s to allow you to be the YES to the life you want.

To remove the ‘but’ and to go for it.


Here’s a simple tip on how to alter the excuse-driven mindset:

Instead of saying “yes, but”…

Flip it to “yes, and”...


Then watch as your statement changes from a defensive one to an opportunistic one.

Here’s an example:


Instead of “Yes, but I don’t have time.” It reworks to, “Yes, and I’ll find time.”


You can use this little word swappery in your relationships, work, delegation duties, personal development, and ultimately ALL aspects of life.


As we gently open our clean slate of 2020, this year I want you to follow your heart instead of following your fears.


Say yes AND to open up more conversations, more possibilities, and more of what you want in life.


Say yes AND to the community of undeniable women who will rally around you and stand for your dreams.


Because there’s nothing better than having that unbreakable bond of teammates who have your back, and empower you towards the life you want.
